✨ Back to Me: Finding the Pause in the Push
Because balance doesn’t always mean doing less — sometimes, it means doing what fills you up. 💛🧘♀️🍪
Hi Whereverco. Community,
Whew — it has been a time over here. It’s felt like full speed ahead for the past three months, and I’ve definitely hit that point where throwing in the towel seemed like a tempting option. Why is it that everything always seems to happen all at once?
But in the chaos, I’ve noticed something: life has this way of balancing itself out. The good, the bad. The uncomfortable, the comforting. The push to do it all, and the pull to step back and just be. I had just gotten into a groove I really loved — and then, as life does, everything flipped upside down (in both beautiful and challenging ways).
This isn’t a complaint — it’s a reminder. It’s okay to hit pause. It’s okay to stop and then start again, when you're ready. That restart moment? It says more than any streak of “perfection” ever could.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve chosen to come back to the things that ground me:
movement that’s just for me
the simple joy of a cookie and a coffee at 3PM
exploring the kitchen again and making food that nourishes
taking a moment to sit, rest, and just breathe
I give so much of my energy to others — and maybe you do too — but I’m learning (again) that my energy deserves a home within me first.
Even just writing this to you brings me a sense of ease, because this community is my safe space. A place where I can show up as I am, and know I’m not alone. I hope it feels that way for you, too.
What’s something small you’re coming back to this week — just for you? Hit reply or tag us @wherevercocommunity to share. Let’s inspire each other to rest, reset, and realign.
Sending love & cookies,
Victoria
