Moving Thoughts: A Quieter Kind of Growth
Well, summer is coming to a close soon, and I’m feeling all kinds of ways about it.
Truthfully, I’ve really enjoyed this quieter season of life. Decorating our house, slowing down a little, coming back to my roots and remembering my why. In a funny way, it feels like I’ve come full circle and found my way back to myself — but in the best possible way.
I’ve also learned a lot about what is actually worth my time and what isn’t. I think there’s something really valuable about being on this side of things, what I like to call real life starting. And honestly, I feel good. I feel calm.I feel excited.I feel settled in who I am. And to me, that feeling is timeless.
So, what are my goals for this next dance season and this next season of life?
To keep learning. To keep growing. To keep trusting myself. To find more confidence in what I do and, just as importantly, how I do it.
I don’t really know where today’s post is going, but I felt the urge to share. I keep finding myself coming back to a mantra I started saying a few years ago:
I have my health.I have my wealth. And I am proud of the life I am creating.
Maybe that’s where I’m at right now. Not feeling like I need to have everything figured out. Just feeling grateful for where I am, excited for where I’m going, and proud of the life I’m building along the way.
